Four Israeli hostages being held by Hamas in Gaza were rescued alive during a raid on the Nuseirat camp in the center of the strip, the Israel Defense Forces, the security service Shin Bet, and the Israeli police announced in a joint statement Saturday.

25-year-old Noa Argamani, a 21-year-old Meil Jan, 27-year-old Andrey Kozlov and 40-year-old Shlomi Ziv were all kidnapped at the Nova music festival on October 7. They were recovered after the IDF announced it was striking "terrorist infrastructure" in central Gaza.

The joint statement said that the hostages were rescued from two different locations during the operation, and that "their medical condition is normal."

They have been sent to the Tel Hashomer Sheba Medical Center for further medical examination, the joint statement said.
