The last reported sighting of Rachel Booth was at a garage on the A556 in Northwich
An outdoor activity centre has temporarily closed as police search for a woman reported missing near the area.
Rachel Booth, aged 38, was last seen at about 03:50 BST on Saturday at Sandiway Garage on the A556 in Northwich, Cheshire Police said.
Insp James Wilson said officers were "becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare".
Wild Shore Delamere, which offers outdoor activities at its lake, said it had shut "due to ongoing police investigations in the surrounding area".
In a social media post, it said: "The incident is unrelated to Wild Shore - however we wish to help as much as possible - so we will be closing the site until further notice."

Ms Booth is described as being 5ft 9in (1.75m), slim and with blonde hair. She is believed to have been wearing black leggings and a black top.
Insp Wilson appealed for anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact officers.
"We would also like to appeal directly to Rachel to get in touch to let us know you are OK," he added.
