Australia to begin gun buyback scheme in response to Bondi shooting

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese says a gun buyback scheme will begin in November in New South Wales in response to the shooting that killed 15 people at a Hanukkah celebration at Sydney’s Bondi Beach last year. People returning rifles and handguns will receive up to US$700 per firearm.
