Former president Donald Trump, in a recent Fox interview, recounted Melania and

Barron Trump

's first reaction when they got to know about the assassination attempt in Pennsylvania on July 13. Barron was playing tennis outside when someone told him, "Barron, Barron your father's been shot'. "Melania was watching it on the television and Barron was outside having a tennis lesson.

He's a good tennis player. Someone ran up to him and said Barron, Barron your father's been shot. He loves his father. He's a good kid, he's a good student, a good athlete," Trump said.
Barron went to his mom and asked what was happening. "She was watching it live. Can you imagine! And then I got up and let people know I was okay. Fight. Fight. Fight. But it was a big hit. A miracle actually. From that distance it's supposed to be a sure thing...People who understand guns said it was almost impossible to not get hit. Had I not looked at my immigration chart, my all-time favorite chart...Had I turned around a little bit more or less..." Trump said adding that he always uses the chart but never on his right side like that day and never at the beginning of his speech like that day -- it's always at the end.
He said there was a lot of blood and the doctor told him that ears are one of the 'bloodiest' parts of the body.
Trump spoke about his family ahead of the release of his new book of photographs titled 'Save America'. Set to be released on Tuesday, the book includes his recollections of meetings with foreign leaders, photos of family milestones and other appearances. Former First Lady Melania Trump is also set to release her memoir while Barron Trump is to join a college -- the details of which have not been disclosed yet.
