has no interest in reconciling with his brother, Prince Harry, despite his recent birthday wishes to the
Duke of Sussex
, as per reports.

King Charles
on social media.
"Wishing the Duke of Sussex a very happy 40th birthday today!" King Charles posted on X.

's official X account, named 'The Prince and Princess of Wales,' wrote: "Wishing a Happy 40th Birthday to The Duke of Sussex!"
Prince William's friend shared with The Daily Beast that, in reality, the Prince of Wales is not currently interested in reconnecting with Harry and Meghan. "He (William) regards what Harry said in his book as unforgivable and, understandably, given Catherine’s cancer diagnosis, just wants to focus on his wife and family first, and his job second," William's friend added.
The same source added that the birthday message was mainly to "align" with King Charles. "It shows William is willing to respect his father’s seniority and do what is asked of him," the source explained, noting that the message wasn’t signed personally by William and Kate, calling it “just a company thing.”
A friend of the King Charles III, as quoted by GB News, said, “The King has made it clear he loves Harry and wants to be part of his and his family’s life. Publicly wishing him a happy 40th birthday is entirely consistent with that.”
According to a palace insider, such birthday messages are customary for milestone birthdays of non-working royals. However, the source added that a similar message won’t be sent for Harry’s 41st birthday, as it’s not considered a milestone age.
Both the Duke of Sussex and the Prince of Wales recently attended their uncle Lord Robert Fellowes' funeral but did not interact.
