Scotland's T20 World Cup campaign finished on a low note as Nepal chased down 170 in a thrilling contest at the Wankhede Stadium to claim their first victory on this stage since 2014.
Dipendra Singh Airee was the hero for Nepal, finishing with an unbeaten half-century off just 23 balls.
Having been put into bat, Richie Berrington's side looked on course for an above-par total thanks to Michael Jones' fluent 71, but they collapsed from 132-1 to 162-7 as momentum stalled - eventually posting 170-7.
And on a good batting surface, Nepal reached their target with four balls to spare.
Neither team were in contention for a Super 8 spot with West Indies and England progressing from Group C, but Nepal have at least exorcised some demons after a last-ball defeat by England in their tournament opener.
Scotland - late call-ups to the tournament after Bangladesh withdrew - also finish with one victory from their four group-stage matches.
