On another occasion, Hynd is alleged to have hit a child "aged approximately eight or nine" over the head with an item during the club's "cubs" class.

That incident was said to have been witnessed by another coach, who left the club for a short period afterwards.

A further complaint said another boxer suffered an injured hand, but felt "forced to undertake unsuitable exercises". He left the gym a short time later due to feeling "bullied".

Hynd is also alleged to have repeatedly made fun of another child who had recently lost weight.

Hynd was appointed as a technical official at the Games in February.

Complaints were initially reported to Boxing Scotland in April.

A spokesperson for the Commonwealth Games said the appointment of officials was under the remit of Boxing Scotland.

Hynd was ordered to stay away from the club and related activities while the probe is ongoing.

Boxing Scotland said it was unable to comment on specific allegations.
