No cabinet officials were allowed inside the catering truck, inside which President Donald Trump was snuck away last month in response to a potential Iranian assassination threat in Turkey.

Apart from some low-ranking aides, only three individuals were allowed inside the truck, as they are believed to be the closest to the president: Dan Scavino, the White House deputy chief of staff; Natalie Harp, Trump's assistant and Walt Nauta, the director of Oval Office operations. Washington Post reported that neither Marco Rubio nor Pete Hegseth nor Stephen Miller were allowed inside the truck that took TrumpThe catering truck moved under concealment from the Air Force One aircraft to a smaller Air Force C-32A before flying to Britain separately.

Who is Dan Scavino?

Dan Scavino has been serving as the White House deputy chief of staff in the second Trump administration but his history with Trump dates back to 1992, when he worked as a caddie at a New York country club that Trump later purchased and turned into Trump National Golf Club Westchester. After graduating from college, Scavino worked his way up to become the golf club's general manager.He joined Trump's 2016 presidential campaign and went on to serve throughout the entire first Trump administration as White House Director of Social Media and later Deputy Chief of Staff for Communications.

Known colloquially among campaign staffers and media outlets as Trump's "human printer," Harp earned a reputation for constantly accompanying him with a portable printer to feed him printed news articles, polls, and favorable commentary.

In her role as executive assistant, she remains a member of his inner circle, assisting with his daily schedule and managing dictation for his social media accounts.

Who is Walt Nauta?

Walt Nauta is a close political aide to Donald Trump and currently serves in his second White House administration as Deputy Assistant to the President and Director of Oval Office Operations. Nauta spent 20 years in the U.S. Navy, reaching the rank of Senior Chief Petty Officer. During his military career, he was assigned to the Presidential Food Service and eventually became a White House valet during Trump's first presidency.

In that role, he acted as a personal assistant and "body man," handling day-to-day tasks like fetching beverages and managing travel details.After Trump left office in 2021, Nauta retired from the Navy and joined Trump's personal staff at Mar-a-Lago, continuing to work as his primary executive assistant and political aide.
