With a week left for the much-awaited ABC News face-off between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris for which both camps are revising their strategy, Democrat Governor

JB Pritzker

said it would be wrong to underestimate Donald Trump. Though Kamala Harris has great capability, she should be wary of him and put forward her points steadily without getting flummoxed by an overbearing Trump, the Dem Guv said claiming that though the CNN debate between Trump and Biden now has little value with Biden opting out of the race, it can be said that Trump won that debate.

He won debate against Hilary Clinton too, the governor said.
“We shouldn’t be thinking that somehow Kamala Harris has a greater ability to win a debate than Donald Trump,” Pritzker continued. “They’re going to come in as significant rivals with very, very different points of view.”
Kamala Harris' entry in the fray has changed all election equations and it's now a very close race between Harris and Donald Trump. The campaigning has become vicious with Trump pulling no punches to attack Kamala Harris and a resurgent Dem campaign giving it back -- in style.
Pollster Frank Luntz said now the debate will be everything for the voters. “When the voters see side-by-side the two candidates and they listen to what they say, not just in the answers, it’s the body language. Is there contempt? Does someone fold their arms? Do they look at the individual when they’re speaking? Do they seem presidential in their approach?” Luntz explained.

There were initial hiccups over the debate as Donald Trump did not want ABC to be the platform. And then Kamala Harris campaign wanted to change the rules -- they wanted it to be a seated affair, with microphones on. But ABC News rejected the request and as of now, the debate will follow the same rules the Biden-Trump debate on CNN had.
