Donald Trump's performance at the debate stage against Kamala Harris was not his worst but it was pretty negative, pessimistic, cynical, contemptuous and very close to his worst performance, Republican pollster Frank Luntz commented giving a clear verdict that Kamala Harris won the debate and also win the election. "I’m trying to decide if I want to go on record.
And the answer is yes. I think that he loses because of this debate performance," Luntz said on Piers Morgan Uncensored.
Luntz said one of the worst moments in the debate was when Trump accused immigrants of eating dogs and cats. “The conversations about people eating dogs and cats, calling the leader of Hungary one of the greatest world leaders,” Luntz said.
“Repeatedly missing the opportunity to focus on inflation and affordability, and the complete inability to present his point of view without completely tearing into her, into Joe Biden, into whomever was in his sights.”
Donald Trump, however, appeared unfazed by all the negative reactions and said people started giving him the credit for a great debate which 'Fake News Media' won't show. "The Voters and Voter Polls showed it, but the Fake News Media wasn’t giving the credit that was due. Now they are seeing the results with independent Voters, Evangelicals, and more - and saying, WOW! Remember, I wasn’t debating one person, I was debating three. They should fire everybody at ABC Fake News, whose two lightweight “anchors” have brought disgrace onto the company!" Trump posted.
CNN did a flash poll finding that 63 per cent of registered voters who watched the ABC News debate believed that Harris won the debate. An average of national polls currently shows Harris has a 2.8-point lead over Trump.
Trump ally RFK Jr told Fox News that Harris has clearly won the debate. “Vice President Harris clearly won the debate in terms of her delivery, polish, organization, and preparation,” RFK Jr said.
