Ex-BBC presenter Alex Belfield was sent to prison in September 2022
A former BBC local radio presenter convicted of stalking Jeremy Vine has been recalled to prison for breaching his licence conditions.
Alex Belfield, from Nottingham, was jailed for five-and-a-half years in September 2022 after being found guilty of four stalking charges against broadcasters, including Channel 5 host and BBC Radio 2 DJ Vine.
On Thursday, the Prison and Probation Service said Belfield had been recalled to prison last month.
It did not disclose how Belfield breached his licence conditions.

Belfield made videos throughout his trial and posted them on YouTube
Vine previously labelled Belfield "the Jimmy Savile of trolling" during his trial at Nottingham Crown Court.
Jurors convicted Belfield of four charges committed between 2012 and 2021.
As part of his sentence, he was made the subject of restraining orders, which ban him from contacting his victims.
Belfield, whose YouTube channel still has 345,000 subscribers, was released from prison last year.
On 25 January, he spoke in an interview with podcaster Liam Tuffs on YouTube about how he had been made the subject of a "court order that we cannot cross".
A spokesperson for the Prison and Probation Service said: "As this case shows, we do not hesitate to send offenders back to prison if they break the rules."
