across different parts of Pakistan. Similar incidents were reported in the month of June as well.

In the Mardan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on June 8, a 22-year-old female school teacher who had contracted a free-will marriage was killed in the name of 'honour.' The incident occurred in the Tazagram area, where the woman was dragged out of a car and killed, nine months after her court marriage.
