'Holy smokes! Literally nothing?' CNN anchor Jake Tapper's reaction on Election Night viral

Jake Tapper went viral for his 'Holy smokes!' comment on live.

CNN anchor Jake Tapper's shock at learning that Kamala Harris did not outperform Joe Biden's 2020 results in a single state on Election Night went viral. "Holy smokes! Literally nothing?"

Jake Tapper

said to CNN chief national correspondent John King who presented a grey map in front of him.“Literally not one county?” Tapper asked. And then he was shown the county-wise map in which Harris outperformed Biden by 3% in 58 counties.
“So in counties, in 58 counties,” King said. “We just showed Donald Trump was over a thousand counties of the 4,600 counties and townships across America.”
“There might be more out here on the West Coast, possibly one or two more as they finish the count here, but in the states that matter — again, I just showed you all those Trump counties — in one county in battleground Pennsylvania, she’s outperforming President Biden by 3% or more.”

Jake Tapper became a meme for his reaction and memes were what overtook X on Election Night. Donald Trump Jr urged his followers to send memes to him. "It’s my second all nighter in a row and I’m too tired to search for them. Send them below!!! This is going to be glorious," Trump Jr posted as he also reacted to CNN meltdown over his father's projected victory.
"You would think these morns would learn...But they don't," Don Jr wrote reacting to CNN commentators saying that Trump won because of "racism and sexism".
John Stewart's rant to election experts: 'You don't know s**t'

John Stewart also went viral because of his abusive rant against the pollsters as a closely fought poll was predicted. “I do want to very quickly send a quick message to all the pollsters, the election pollsters: Blow me,” Stewart said. “I don’t want to f****ing hear from you again, ever. I don’t ever want to hear, ‘We’ve connected to the…’ You don’t know s**t about s**t, and I don’t care for it.” Stewart said.
