
Hong Kong jails Tiananmen vigil activists for seven years

A Hong Kong court sentenced two pro-democracy activists to seven years in prison, and a third to five years, for organising vigils to commemorate the Tiananmen Square massacre. Judges accused them of violating China’s constitution by calling for an ‘end to one-party dictatorship’.
