Indian YouTuber faces racist attack in Vegas, offered 7-11 job; he says to harassers 'you look too poor'

Indian travel vlogger Paramvir Singh Beniwal faced racist attacks when he was touring Las Vegas and livestreaming, when he was offered a 7-11 job by a group of hecklers he met on the road.

The hecklers were also streamers and Beniwal said they approached him and looked friendly. One of them introduced a friend and said he owns 73 7-11 stores across the country and then offered Beniwal a job.Beniwal later said the group only had racism in their mind, and when he was certain that they only came to bully him, he started recording. Beniwal said his friend Vikram, who was there with him, also did not understand the racism.

"They call us 7-11 as mostly Indians work as cashiers in those stores but it was not a funny, casual exchange but a racist attack," Beniwal said, adding that the group was livestreaming him and was making some racist content.

He said their livestream account was based on racist content."You guys look too poor for me to work for you guys," Beniwal told them and captured this on his livestream too so that those streamers could not make fun of him on their livestream.

After being snubbed in the face, one person from the group said the payment for 7-11 is good. And $12 per hour would make a decent amount monthly. "Make sure you invest that money into a real chain and not a fake chain," Beniwal said, referring to the necklace the man was wearing.Beniwal said the man was drunk and got triggered as he was humiliated on his own stream.Then Beniwal said to his viewers that he's immune to soft racism that Indians work as Uber drivers, 7-11 cashiers; they don't wear perfumes etc; and so when these people abused him directly, he did not feel bad. He was happy that they approached him, and he could tell them off.
