After days of protests, Kenya’s high court effectively delayed the Trump administration’s plan to send American citizens exposed to the Ebola virus to a quarantine unit at Laikipia Air Base in central Kenya.

“Kenya is a weak economy. It’s a poor state, you see. So we don’t have the capacity to do that. So bringing that here is exposing the lives of Kenyans.” “When President Trump asked the government of Kenya to support them by having a center in Laikipia Air Base, I gave the OK because it was an agreement and a partnership with friends who have worked with Kenya for 30-40 years.”
