Victoria Kjaer Theilvig of Denmark won the Miss Universe title this year.
Victoria Kjaer Theilvig
of Denmark won the 73rd Miss Universe title which MAGA supporters celebrated and called as the Trump effect. Their logic is: had Kamala Harris won the election, a '40-year-old transgender' would have been given the title. "Biological & objectively attractive women are allowed to win beauty pageants again. WE ARE SO BACK," Donald Trump Jr posted Monday making it official that MAGA is taking credit over it.
“Wokeness is officially over. This is the new Miss Universe,” one X user wrote.
"This is Miss Denmark, who was just crowned Miss Universe. It’s the Trump Effect in action. Had Kamala won, the prize would’ve gone to a 40 year old transgender," one wrote.
"The fact that we ever had to say "Look! A woman won Miss Universe!" Is absolutely bonkers!!! Return to normalcy!!" one wrote.
"The world is healing again," another wrote.
Miss Universe 2024
was the 73rd Miss Universe pageant, held at the Arena CDMX in Mexico City, Mexico, on November 16. Sheynnis Palacios of Nicaragua crowned Victoria Kjær Theilvig of Denmark as her successor at the end of the event. This was Denmark's first win in the pageant's history. Contestants from a record 125 countries and territories competed in the pageant, surpassing the previous record of 94 entrants set in 2018.
Every Miss Universe winner has been a biological female.
The MAGA stole the celebration in the context of Algerian Imane Khelif who clinched gold in the women's welterweight competition in Paris. Her victory came amid controversy over her gender because she was disqualified from the 2023 Women's World Boxing Championships failing a gender eligibility test. Donald Trump, Elon Musk stoked the controversy and said that they would never allow men in women's games. Just before the US election, a purported medical report of Khelif was leaked claiming that she is biologically male. Khelif maintained that she is a woman and the 'leaked' medical report was unconfirmed.
