Man, 74, dies after being hit by car in Broughty Ferry

A major road in Broughty Ferry has been closed after a car crashed into a house.

The incident happened at about 13:00 on Monday after the vehicle mounted the pavement and hit the property on Nursery Road.

Nursery Road and Forthill Road are currently closed while emergency services deal with the incident.

There is currently no information on the condition of the driver of the car.

A blue tarpaulin has been erected in the garden of the property.

Police and ambulance crews have remained at the scene of the collision.
