Political commentator
Megyn Kelly
said Oprah Winfrey has lost a lot of weight and also her heart and originality -- in her townhall interview with Kamala Harris in Michigan. "I used to love Oprah, like most of us who grew up when we did. And only now did I realize I’ve been getting spoon-fed propaganda from this woman for years," Megyn said adding that she did not ask any hard questions to Kamala Harris but used the format "to rehab and repackage" Harris.
She said Oprah was embarrassing and elitist in the nauseating town hall.
“I miss fat Oprah. She was just genuine,” Kelly said on Friday’s episode of the SiriusXM podcast “The Megyn Kelly Show.”
“Before I was a reporter, I never even thought to question whether Oprah might be intentionally misleading me,” Kelly said. “Then last night, the dawn came and I was like, ‘Oh, my God, she is not a reporter. She’s a propagandist trying to shove messaging down my throat of whatever she believes not what’s real," Megyn said.
“Oprah is no longer in the business of staying up on the news. I bet she didn’t even watch the damn debate. She’s reading, undoubtedly, from blue cards her staff gave her. That’s how ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’ was shot. Oprah didn’t have to think of her own questions.”
A TikTok creator who was featured in the townhall has now come forward claiming that she does not support Harris for president and claimed that Oprah Winfrey's team did not ask for permission to use her video in which she questioned the living cost in America. “How are people affording life right now?” she said in a video posted in November 2023. “I have made it very clear that I don’t support Kamala Harris at all,” Blaire Allison said in the video.
