Police said two men aged in their 50s have been arrested on suspicion of murder

A murder investigation has been launched after a man in his 40s died in Portadown.

It was reported to police at about 23:00 GMT on Thursday that a man was injured following an altercation at a property in Ranfurley Road in the County Armagh town.

Police and the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service attended but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two men in their 50s have been arrested on suspicion of murder.

They are currently in police custody.

Det Ch Insp Bradley from the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) said police "are appealing to anyone who believes they may have information which could assist us with our investigation, any dashcam or doorbell footage to contact us".
