Police open fire at political protests in Mozambique

Hundreds of Mozambican protesters burned tyres as police fired tear gas and live rounds to disperse them on Thursday, in the largest demonstrations against last month’s disputed election. Human rights groups say at least 18 people have been killed in the police crackdown since Oct 9.
