After much suspense, Donald Trump's youngest son 18-year-old Barron was spotted at New York University Wednesday to attend the first day of his college life. Barron was flaked by Secret Service agents as he arrived at the Manhattan campus, the New York Post reported. While the university where Barron will take his college classes is known, it's still unknown what subjects he would study.
Barron's university choice was much discussed as this is a crucial year for the 18-year-old. His father is making his re-election bid and Barron too made his debut at father's political rally -- first time coming out of the shadow of Melania Trump who is known to have very protective of his son. It was speculated that Barron could have opted for a gap year because of the election but Donald Trump earlier hinted that Barron already finalized his university which is in New York -- but did not reveal the name.
Choosing NYU, Barron actually broke the family tradition of studying at U-Pen. Donald Trump studied at the University of Pennsylvania but Barron's choice was NYU because the campus is only a few miles from their building.
Barron took the centerstage this election after he graduated from the Oxbridge Academy in West palm Beach in May. His graduation ceremony was attended by both his parents. A lot depended on Barron's choice of New York University as Melania would like to be around with Barron in New York instead of returning to Washington if Donald Trump becomes the president. Melania would not resume her full time role as the First Lady, it was hinted.
