Multiple people have been shot at a casino in Reno, Nevada, and a suspect is in custody.
The shooting happened at the Grand Sierra Resort around 7:25 a.m. PT, according to the Reno Police Department, KRNV reported.
Authorities are urging the public to stay away while they respond to a "critical incident."
“My heart breaks for the victims, their families, and our entire community,” Devon Reese, a member of the Reno City Council, said in a social media post.
“Reno is strong — but we are not immune to the epidemic of gun violence gripping this nation.”
