While vice president Kamala Harris receives a lot of flak and scrutiny for her word salads -- words put together in a roundabout way meaning nothing, Donald Trump was accused of being non-coherent as he spoke at the Economic Club of New York. On a question on childcare, Donald Trump actually said, "Childcare is childcare..."
At the gathering, he was asked a specific question on whether he would bring in any legislation for making child care affordable, he said, "I would do that and we're sitting down, you know, I was, somebody, we had Marco Rubio and my daughter, Ivanka, were so impactful on the issue.

It's a very important issue but i think when you talk about the kind of numbers that I'm talking about that...because...childcare is childcare, you know, you have to have it in this country..."

The reactions to Trump's rambling were funny. "I would dare any of you to listen to his answer on child care and tell me what the hell he was talking about,” Fox New's Jessica Tarlov said. “Everyone is saying, ’Well, Trump is so transparent and Trump’s out there and that’s all that matters.′ What matters is the content of what he’s saying and none of it, none of it is explainable,” Tarlov said.
NBC's Lawrence O'Donnell said he used to think that all the rich people are smart but there are a lot of stupid rich people who gathered at the Economic Club of New York to prove how stupid they are when they clapped after Donald Trump's incoherent answers. "How stupid you have to be to clap for that," Lawrence said adding that he knew how stupid the speaker (Donald Trump) was but he did not know how stupid the audience was.
"We did a great job and now we really know our job well. We know the smartest, the best people. We have the best people," Trump said during his interaction. These questions were all pre-determined, Lawrence said marveling at Donald Trump's stupidity.
