Police say they are keeping "an open mind" over the cause of the fire
Several homes and a synagogue have been evacuated due to a large fire at a property in Stamford Hill, north London.
Around 100 firefighters and 15 fire engines are at the scene on Cazenove Road, the London Fire Brigade (LFB) said.
The Metropolitan Police said it was "early stages" and was "keeping an open mind as to the cause of the fire".
The force added: "We appreciate that given the location of the fire and proximity to the synagogue, there will undoubtedly be community concern."

The property has been cordoned off while crews tackle the fire
It is not yet known if the building is residential or is used for the local community.
LFB said it had received around 40 calls from the public reporting the fire just after 16:00 BST and sent crews from Stoke Newington, Islington, Walthamstow and surrounding fire stations.
People are being advised to avoid the area while firefighters bring the blaze under control.
Police said officers remain in the area and are available to speak to concerned residents and the wider community.
