Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a human torso was found wrapped in plastic at a nature reserve.
The male victim, who was found wrapped in plastic near a bunker in Kersal Dale Wetlands in Salford on 4 April, remains unidentified.
Greater Manchester Police officers reopened the crime scene in the wooded area at the weekend.
The force said the arrests of the men - aged 42 and 68 - were a "undoubtedly a significant step in the investigation.
