The body of a British hiker has been found in Majorca, with another person still missing, after being caught up in flash floods, police on the Spanish island say.
Spain’s Civil Guard said they were on a trail through the Torrente de Pareis canyon to the Mediterranean Sea when the storm hit on Tuesday.
Ten other tourists who where trapped by the floods were rescued, police said. Strong winds and heavy rain have been forecast in the area.
The Foreign Office has confirmed to the BBC that it is "supporting the families of a British man and woman who are missing in Majorca and are in contact with the local authorities".
