US defence secretary says drug cartels will be ‘targeted like ISIS’

US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth says the US military will target drug traffickers in the same way it targets groups such as ISIS and al-Qaeda. The US has been accused of acting illegally with its strikes on suspected drug boats in international waters.
