Toronto
, as revealed in a video capturing the incident.
The footage released by
Ontario police
shows the woman ringing the doorbell of the victim's Toronto home on September 6. She expressed interest in "taking a look" at and buying a 2022 Porsche Cayenne listed on Autotrader. She said, “Hello, I’m here for the Porsche," and added that she was waiting for her father.
The woman belongs to South Asia, as per New York Post reports.
The footage then cuts to the victim’s driveway, where the woman can be seen sitting in the driver's seat of the Porsche. As the victim moved toward the rear of the vehicle, the woman suddenly reversed the car, hitting him and dragging him into the street.
The victim seemed to get caught on one of the rear wheels before getting back on his feet and holding his back.
He sustained injuries to his elbow, hands, and legs, requiring medical attention, as per reports by New York Post. Police said the suspect fled the scene in the stolen car, and an accomplice in a gray
Bentley Bentayga
