, who is a director of Neuralink. Shivon reportedly has three children with Elon Musk and two of them were present at the Blair House today -- twins Azure (girl) and Strider (boy). The other child present today was X, who is always seen with Elon Musk nowadays-- be it Mar-a-Lago, the Capitol Hill or the Oval Office. X is Elon Musk's son with Canadian singer Grimes.
Zilis is known to be Elon Musk's present partner who is frequently spotted along with Musk as Musk moved closer to Donald Trump's orbit.
Zilis has an Indian connection as her mother is a Punjabi and her father is a Canadian. She was born in Markham, Ontario and attended Yale University. She graduated in 2008 with a degree in economics and philosophy. Zilis started her career in finance and venture capital, got a job at IBM, and then moved to Bloomberg Beta.
Zilis worked as a project director at Tesla from 2017 to 2019, lending her AI expertise to the Autopilot and chip-design teams.
While Elon Musk and Shivon Zilis never made any statement about their relationship, it was reported that Shivon moved in at the Texas compound that Elon Musk built for all his children and wanted their mothers to move in there. Elon and Zilis in 2022 reportedly requested a name change for their twins so that they would have both Musk and Zilis's last names as a middle name which a Texas judge approved.
It was reported that Zilis and Musk welcomed the twins through in-vitro fertilization. Their relationship was said to be professional and not romantic but that was earlier.
In Elon Musk's biography written by journalist Walter Isaacson, Shivon Zilis said Elon encouraged her to have children. “He really wants smart people to have kids, so he encouraged me to do this,” Zilis said in the book. Although Zillis initially planned on using an anonymous sperm donor, Musk later suggested that he could be the donor, which she agreed to. “I can’t possibly think of genes I would prefer for my children,” Zilis said in the book.
