A woman, 37, has been arrested on suspicion of child neglect after the death of a baby in Birmingham.
Officers were called to reports of an infant having a medical emergency on Culford Drive, in Bartley Green, on Wednesday.
West Midlands Police said the baby boy was taken to hospital, where he sadly died.
"We understand the concerns of the community of this incident, but we would ask the public not to speculate on the circumstances," a spokesperson said.
