Reeves has appeared as the iconic ex-hitman in a trailer for the new game
The billion-dollar action film series John Wick is being turned into a video game, featuring the likeness and voice of star Keanu Reeves.
"Untitled John Wick Game", as it is currently known, will be made by Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 developer Saber Interactive and include input from film franchise director Chad Stahelsk.
A trailer for the game, which is expected to be a prequel to the series, was unveiled at PlayStation's "State of Play" showcase on Thursday.
The Sony event also revealed several remakes of major game franchises, including the God of War trilogy, as well as a 30th anniversary edition of platformer Rayman.
The John Wick film franchise, which has earned more than $1bn (£735m) worldwide, follows the story of the retired assassin played by Keanu Reeves on a path of bloody vengeance.
It's not the first time the iconic hitman has appeared in games, but Saber's will be the first voiced by Reeves.
The Hollywood actor is no stranger to gaming however, having played the leading role of Johnny Silverhand in the smash hit Cyberpunk 2077.
Matthew Karch, chief executive at Saber Interactive said the team was "honoured" to be working alongside Stahelski and Reeves to "bring the world of Wick to life" in a blockbuster game.
The studio says the story will be an original one "tailored for mature audiences", featuring old characters from the series as well as new ones.
Jenefer Brown, president of global products at John Wick producer Lionsgate, said it hoped to capture the "unparalleled action" and "brand-defining fight choreography" of the films.
But some have questioned what it meant for Saber's long-awaited remake of classic Star Wars game Knights of the Old Republic (KOTOR).
Christopher Dring, editor-in-chief and co-founder of The Game Business, said the new project felt like a "strong match-up" of genre, intellectual property (IP) and developer.
Describing Saber as a "collection of studios working across multiple IP", he said it can release "multiple games a year across all different genres".

Konami's trailer for Silent Hill Townfall revealed it is set in St Amelia, a "fictional island inspired by Scotland"
Sony's showcase also revealed Santa Monica Studios is remaking the first three God Of War games - building on one of PlayStation's most profitable franchises.
While giving no release date for the remakes, it unexpectedly announced a side-scrolling 2D prequel game Sons of Sparta with immediate release.
Meanwhile, fans of the Japanese survival horror series Silent Hill were given their first proper look at latest game Townfall set on St. Amelia, "a fictional island inspired by Scotland".
A 30th anniversary edition collection of platformer Rayman, featuring five versions of the 1995 classic, was also announced with another near-instant release.
Loic Gounon, brand producer for the games, told the BBC it would feature a new documentary that "goes deep into the making of the first game" and accessibility additions to "enhance the experience for modern players".
